Some know me as a designer, others as a writer, but few as a photographer. That’s all true. Each field in itself has its place. All of them combine my passion for capturing, modulating and understanding the moment.
My ambition as a photographer is to seek out and capture what is special in the everyday. I don’t just want to take photos, I want to create images.
It is all already there. There are countless images of it. But the focus is different – depending on the moment and perception. The special differs from the normal only in the way we see it and how we assign meanings to it.
My photographs show my personal way of capturing and depicting reality. The motif is well-known, but my way of looking at it perhaps reveals something else: THE UNSEEN KNOWN.
